Eligibility

You will be eligible for the Oranim Educational Initiatives Free 10-Day trip if you are Jewish. This means that...

  • You are recognized as Jewish by the Jewish community
  • You are recognized as Jewish by one of the recognized denominations of Judaism
  • At least one parent is Jewish and you are not practicing another religion
  • You converted to Judaism (proof of conversion required - please contact info@israelfree.com)

There are certain age and previous Israel travel restrictions as well. These include...

  • You are between the ages of 18-30 (at the time of applying)
  • You have graduated High School
  • You have never been to Israel on an organized trip after the age of 14
  • You have not lived in Israel since the age of 10 (proof of time outside of Israel required – please contact info@israelfree.com)

If I am Jewish, but I don't meet the previous Israel travel restrictions, can I still participate?

For $1,900, if you meet the criteria above but have been on an organized trip after the age of 14, you can still participate in a special "Returnees Trip" with Oranim Educational Initiatives. For more information, click here.

Are there any other exceptions that will allow me to still participate?

If you are 25 years or older and are Jewish (as determined above), we will allow you to participate for free if you have been to Israel on one of the following trips:

  • March of the Living
  • Teen Tour
  • Maccabi in Israel / Maccabiah Games
  • Synagogue Trip
  • Volunteered in Israel (alone or part of a group)

These trips are a generous gift from Oranim Educational Initiatives.
