The Oranim Ambassador Program - Guidelines for Participation
(Summer 2009)
What is the Oranim Ambassador Program?
The Oranim Ambassador Program is a fantastic way for alumni of Oranim's Israel program and other motivated individuals to say "thank you" for the free trip and keeping demand for it high by telling friends about Oranim! In return for your effort, we are willing to reward successful Ambassadors with free trips to Israel! Over the past seven years, over 1800 Ambassadors have been awarded with additional free trips to Israel!
Your goal as an Ambassador: Your goal as an Ambassador for the Summer 2009 recruitment period is to get 15 people to fully register, send in their refundable deposit and successfully participate on Oranim's Israel trip within ONE Oranim Israel trip season - the Summer 2009 season. It is for this that you will be rewarded a free trip back to Israel.
What are the rules of the Ambassador program?
By joining the Ambassador program you agree to abide by the following guidelines.
- Participation in the Ambassador Program - Oranim Ambassador Program is open to all young Jewish adults that want to express their love of Israel by referring their friends to Oranim Israel programs operated by Oranim.
- All referrals must be made through the QuickReferral system. The only way Oranim will track your marketing efforts is by using the QuickReferral system we have created to assist you. All referrals made through QuickReferral are automatically recorded in a central database. Oranim can then check this database against the official Oranim Israel registration engine (when official registration is open). Oranim will not credit Ambassadors for referrals made by any other method, even if friends provide your name as the one who referred them on the official Oranim Israel application when they register. If you have not entered this person in the QuickReferral system prior to his/her official registration with Oranim Israel you will not receive credit for them.
- Earning a Free Trip to Israel - Oranim Ambassadors who get 15 or more people to join and successfully complete an Oranim Israel trip operated by Oranim (www.IsraelFree.com or www.OranimCanada.com) during the upcoming Oranim Israel Summer 2009 (May, June, July & August 2009) trip season will come back to Israel free on a trip associated with Oranim Educational Initiatives. A "trip season" is the time in either summer or winter in which Oranim Israel trips are actually running in Israel. A "recruitment period" is the time defined by Oranim during which referrals can be made for an upcoming Oranim Israel season. The recruitment period usually runs from the time Oranim Israel closes official registration for one trip season and until the closing of the next trip season's official registration period. For example: The recruitment period for Summer 2009 trips is from October 2008 (when official registration for Winter trips ended) until about March 4, 2009 (when official registration Summer 2009 trips close).
- Important note: Oranim will provide Ambassadors with information about the start and end dates of Oranim's recruitment periods. Due to high demand for Oranim's trips, our recruitment period may end earlier than the official date set by Oranim Israel for a particular season. Oranim reserves the right to end our recruitment period at anytime.
- Carry Over of Referrals and Referred Participants from one "recruitment period" to another: The goal for Ambassadors is to get 15 people to come on ONE trip season (in this case, the Summer 2009 trip season). Ambassadors may NOT carry over participants from one trip season to another trip season in order to get to 15. For example, Ambassadors will not be rewarded a trip back to Israel if they recruited 7 participants for summer participants and 3 for summer participants and 3 for winter trips. Only if 15 or more of your recruited people join the Summer 2009 trip season will you earn the trip back.
- Exclusively Oranim - The Oranim Ambassador Program is not affiliated with any other offer made by Oranim Israel or any other trip organizer. It is only associated with Oranim Educational Initiatives (IsraelFREE.com and OranimCanada.com).
- Multiple Claims - All new emails entered into the QuickReferral system are checked against those already in the database and are marked with a date/time stamp. The Ambassador who referred the person first will be awarded credit. In a case in which two or more Ambassadors claim the same individual or have used different emails for the same individual, Oranim will make the final determination of who is rewarded for the participant.
- How will I know the status of my Referrals? For your convenience, during the recruitment season, you can see and download a list of your referrals from the QuickReferral Reporting Center. Soon after official registration starts, you will be able to view a report detailing the status of referrals you made. For the current recruitment period, we expect the first such report to be issued mid-March 2009.
- Redeeming Free Trips - Ambassadors who have sent 15 or more people on an Oranim Israel trip operated by Oranim during one Oranim Israel trip season are eligible for returning to Israel for free. Please note that:
- Free trips are redeemable only in the current Oranim Israel trip season. One may not "postpone" their trip to a future season.
- Oranim reserves the right to reward Ambassadors with trips to Israel that are associated with Oranim's other projects, some of which may not be affiliated with Oranim Israel programs.
- If a Oranim Israel trip is awarded, only "Oranim Israel qualified" Ambassadors can serve as "madrichim" or trip staff. Minimum qualifications for staffing a trip are: 21 years of age or older, experience in Israel and full participation in all mandatory staff training programs.
- Oranim does not guarantee travel dates in advance and reserves the right to change travel dates at any time. As a rule, Oranim does not place you in a group with those people you have recruited or with other Ambassadors with whom you are friends. Flexibility on all these issues is expected and appreciated.
- Although not our intention, Oranim reserves the right to reject any Ambassador for the free travel offer.
Oranim reserves the right to change the number of participants that an Ambassador must recruit to be eligible for a free trip back to Israel at any time and without prior notice.
- Setting up a Facebook group can be a great tool for recruiting. Please be sure to read the "Requirements for Recruiting on Facebook page" here.
- Oranim reserves the right to make additional changes or terminate altogether the Oranim Ambassador Program as well as the QuickReferral system at any time and without prior notice.
If Oranim has purchased a ticket for a ambassadors who deserved a free trip and they had any type of an emergency be it medical or family and had to cancel the trip then we have no obligation and they have forfeited their right to return again on future trips unless they are successful recruiting again in the future.
- Additional rules and guidelines may also apply.
